The KA-BAR 1245 Tanto is an Asian-inspired knife, related to the well-known KA-BAR USMC model. It shares many features with its brother, but boasts a unique tanto-blade that has exceptional penetrating power. The knife is large and sturdy, with an enhanced handle and knife guard to prevent accidental injuries during heavy use. Made from 1095-carbon steel, the blade is incredibly strong and durable. While this steel is not corrosion-resistant, the blade has a black coating to aid in maintenance. The KA-BAR 1245 also comes with a plastic sheath and a royal belt loop for easy carrying.
