The Benchmade 470-1 Emissary Black pocket knife designed by Osborne Design is a slender designed pocket knife with a black aluminium handle and a blade made of the highly regarded CPM-S30V-powder steel. With comparable knives you often find that the support for the thumb cannot be reached easily because it is inevitably placed at a short distance of the handle. For this pocket knife that problem is solved by routing a part of the handle where your thumb automatically reaches the thumb-support ideally. This works for both left- and right-handed users. The assisted opening ensures this to be a very smoothly opening pocket knife.
