The Benchmade 477-1 Large Emissary 3.5 is the big brother of the 470 Emissary. This model is also designed by Osborne Design. The grip of the 477 is made of anodized aluminum which gives it a tight look and firm grip. The blade of S30V steel is very solid and sturdy. It has a strong assisted opening which helps the blade open the blade more easily. In the open position the knife locked by the famous axis-lock. The back of the knife has an extra lock that can block the knife even when it is closed.
